Service Description
Build confidence and fluency in American Sign Language through interactive live classes designed for teens! Students will strengthen conversation skills, learn classifiers, and build real-world fluency. In this class, your learner will: - Build fluency by signing longer, more detailed sentences using correct ASL grammar and non-manual markers. - Use classifiers, spatial mapping, and role shifting to clearly describe people, places, and events. - Engage in real-world ASL conversations and storytelling with increased confidence, accuracy, and expression. Prerequisites: Prior experience with American Sign Language, including basic vocabulary, fingerspelling, numbers, simple sentences, and familiarity with ASL grammar. Completion of an ASL 1 course or equivalent experience. Ages 13-18 · 45 weeks, 1x per week, 30 minutes · Live video meetings · 2-10 learners per class
