ASL 2 Intermediate — Teens (Ages 13–18) · 45-Week Course
$15 per class or $675 for all 45 classes
American Sign Language taught by ASL Kids Club- This 45-week intermediate ASL course is designed for teens who already know the basics and are ready to build fluency, confidence, and expressive signing skills. Learners progress through three structured levels, each building on the previous one.
What will be taught?
Students will strengthen ASL grammar, expand vocabulary, improve conversational skills, and develop storytelling and expressive signing abilities. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, clarity, and real-world use of ASL.
This class is ideal for teens who want to move beyond beginner ASL and grow into confident, expressive signers.
What Your Learner Will Do
- Students will build fluency by signing longer, more detailed sentences using correct ASL grammar and non-manual markers.
- Students will use classifiers, spatial mapping, and role shifting to clearly describe people, places, and events.
- Students will engage in real-world ASL conversations and storytelling with increased confidence, accuracy, and expression.
Prerequisites: Learners should have prior experience with American Sign Language, including basic vocabulary, fingerspelling, numbers, simple sentences, and familiarity with ASL grammar. Completion of an ASL 1 course or equivalent experience.
