ASL 2 Intermediate — Little Signers (Ages 4–7) · 45-Week Course

$15 per class or $675 for all 45 classes

Welcome to our year-round ASL class designed especially for young learners ages 4–7 who already have a beginner foundation in American Sign Language. This 45-week live online program is part of our full curriculum series and follows a structured learning path. Classes are offered twice a year, with Fall Sessions beginning in August and Spring Sessions beginning in January. Students meet weekly and progress together through the curriculum.

In this intermediate-level course, children will strengthen their ASL skills by expanding vocabulary, improving comprehension, and beginning to communicate using more complete phrases and simple conversations. Students will also be introduced to early storytelling, facial expressions, and visual communication strategies. By the end of the year, learners will feel more confident signing and ready to move into advanced ASL classes.

📚 What will we learn?

✔️ Expanded vocabulary (daily routines, food, animals, places, emotions, activities, and more)

✔️ How to combine signs into longer phrases and early sentences (ex: “I want to eat pizza,” “my friend is happy,” “I go to the park”)

✔️ Asking and answering questions (who, what, where, why, how)

✔️ Using facial expressions to show meaning and emotions

✔️ Describing people, objects, and actions (colors, size, movement)

✔️ Expressing opinions, feelings, and preferences

✔️ Introduction to simple storytelling and conversation skills

What Your Learner Will Do

  • Students will learn and correctly demonstrate basic ASL signs related to common themes such as animals, colors, and emotions.
  • Students will begin to recognize and respond to simple signed words during games, songs, and visual activities.
