ASL 2 Intermediate — Kids (Ages 7–12) · 24-Week Course

$15 per class or $360 for all 24 classes

Ready to help your learner grow beyond the basics? In this live 24-week ASL 2 course, learners build confidence using American Sign Language to share ideas, understand others, and take part in conversations.

✅ What we’ll learn: Learners practice asking and answering questions, adding details to their signs, understanding signed messages, and telling short stories. Topics include everyday routines, people and places, time and plans, ASL grammar, facial expressions, signing space, classifiers, and Deaf culture.

✅ What class is like: We meet once a week. Each lesson includes a quick review, a clear demonstration of new skills, guided practice, and an interactive activity. Lessons build on one another so learners can use what they’ve practiced in new ways.

✅ How learners participate: Learners sign with the instructor throughout class through games, visual challenges, conversations, and story activities. The instructor models signs, gives learners time to try them, and offers kind, specific feedback.

Our teaching style is visual, encouraging, and hands-on. Learners can ask for a sign to be shown again or more slowly as they grow their skills and confidence.

What Your Learner Will Do

  • Learners will ask and answer questions in short ASL conversations about familiar topics, using follow-up questions and appropriate facial expressions.
  • Learners will understand signed descriptions and short stories, then respond to questions about the main idea and key details.
  • Learners will create a short signed story using time signs, signing space, and classifiers to show people, places, and actions.
